浅草で気軽に天ぷらを頂けるお店。多言語対応のタッチパネルで簡単に注文して提供も速いのでさっと食事をしたい時に利用もできるし、簡単なつまみにアイスの天ぷらや明太子チーズもんじゃの天ぷらなど変わり種も有ったりお酒も種類が豊富なので天ぷら居酒屋としての利用にも良いです。

衣が大きいだけで味に特化するものがなく金額ばかり高い外国人観光客向けのお店。 2階は日本間風にリノベしてあるが狭い中にテーブルが窮屈に並べてある暗く狭く簡素な雰囲気。床には前の客が食べこぼしたであろう天かすがちらほら。せめて浅草の風景を見れればよいのだが障子があり全く見えず残念。あれなら少し待ってでも下の階で食べたほうがまだ良いのかも。 タレ多めを選んだが多くもなくお茶を頼んだがお湯かと思うくらい薄かった。

They don't skimp out on the tempura which is good. Though for the price (3000jpy), it feels like you would be happier ordering two servings from tendon tenya. Perhaps you should go here for the godaime special which is 6000JPY. I didn't try that but possibly will do when I come back next time

外はカリカリ、中はふんわりとした天麩羅がのった天丼がおすすめです。 天麩羅というとつい、胃がもたれそうですがこちらの天ぷらはもたれることがありません。 揚げ油でしょうか、衣でしょうか、それとも天つゆでしょうか。 結構なボリュームですが食べてて楽しい天丼でした。 オーダーは各席に置かれたタブレット。 天丼のツユは少なめ・普通・多めと選べますが、唐辛子とニンニクがお好きな方は別料金のチリソースがおすすめです。 意外にも天ぷらに合うのでお試しください。

Great tempura served here. The big premium portion is really big. Oysters is so fresh and good to go for. The shrimp is fresh too that is giant piece. The big fish filets are tender and soft which is the sea fish taste. The deep fried fish bones are amazing that is crispy, can’t find it at else where. The rice is so tasty that is the authentic Japanese rice. The amount of sauce on top is great.

今日月曜日は、天丼屋の葵丸進が 休みだったので、以前から気になっていた　こちらのお店に寄りました。 外見は、老舗の風格、期待が膨らみます。 中に入ると、意外にも注文は、タブレット端末でのタッチ注文。 名物な感じのおばちゃんを想像(期待/笑)してたので意表を突かれた感じ。 待つこと五分くらい… 酷く無愛想な、若いお兄ちゃん、 丼の置き方が、失礼極まりない… 期待がしぼみました…残念。 料理の味で値段は及第点だと思いますが、 あんな態度、振る舞いは頂けません。

Ordered their set tempura that has bit of everything. Didn’t rank 5 star for it as the tempura itself not all of them were fried perfectly. I would expect a proper tempura store cooks the batter in nice way. Unfortunately wasn’t too satisfied with it but it is good enough for tempura rice if you order the normal bowl.

The tempura here is fantastic and can be creative. It is a little bit lighter and less sweet than the traditional Asakusa tempura that often uses a heavier tasting sesame oil. I usually have the tendon special. See photos. I also recommend the kakiage which can come with a salsa-like sauce. Really good and different. The atmosphere is very plain, close by is another tempura place with a small but nice Japanese garden. Also, surprisingly for Japan, the service was a bit rude. A waitress was quite impolite. Anyway, come for the food. Update: I’ve gone a couple times since my original review, but I think the quality of the food is slipping. I was a bit suspicious before, but my last time confirmed my suspicion. The Signature Anago Tempura was not fresh and had a fishy smell and taste. Also, the tempura texture has lost someone of its crispness and the oil was not as fresh. Sorry for this update, hope you can fix this. Maybe just a bad day.

天麩羅は、美味しかったけど、値段を考えるとコスパ良い〜とは、ならない感じでした。牡蠣の天麩羅、おすすめできます！あと、店員さんに、タッチパネルの不具合を伝えたら、めんどくさそうにしたのが残念

THIS, to my mind, is the best tempura I've ever had -- head-on shrimp tempura, eggplant fluffy and crunchy at the SAME time, and oyster tempura, good god, what a tremendous treat / everything else top quality crunch and flavor / coming back everyday in Asakusa / 10 stars

Great little tempura spot near Seno Ji temple! Everything except the music was fantastic!
